  4. Overall, REBORN is okay, but sounds alot like any other Christian band. There are a couple of songs that I like, but 3 minutes songs, no (and I mean no) lead guitar, and poor drum production. The new bassist interview really illuminates the CD. Michael had songs written and partially recorded for a solo album and he invited the guys over.

  5. To mark 25th Anniversary as a band, Stryper recorded a brand new CD featuring ten new songs, one cover and one re-recorded classic. When the band reformed with Michael Sweet a few years ago they released their “Reborn” CD, which was a good, modern rock album that sounded more like one of Sweet’s solo albums than it did a Stryper album.

  6. Stryper definitely deserves to be included in the Metal world, especially since they blew away every glam band in the eighties. Once you look past their image, their musical proficiency was unmatchable on albums like The Yellow and Black Attack and To Hell With The Devil. Fast forward 15 years and what you have is the album Reborn.

  8. Stryper is hoping to pull off one heck of a feat in They are trying to release not one but two studio albums. Yes that's right you heard it correctly. According to the band's leader Michael Sweet, the band is working on an all acoustic album as we speak, which would be the first of it's kind for them.
